Norman de los Santos, is a graphics design artist from Southern California. Originally from the island of Mindoro in the Philippines, he immigrated to the United States in 1989. Taking Computer Science in college and professionally trained in Information Technology and Computer Networks, he delved into programming languages and digital art. Among his many other interests and hobbies (such as music, audio visual technologies, poetry, photography, calligraphy, world history & culture, software design, and video game development), the common thread that brought his current work together is his passion for Filipino writing – the Baybayin Script. Under his Internet persona’s screen name, “Nordenx”, he released several modern Baybayin fonts and started a project in which the ultimate goal is the preservation of the ancient script.
