Diwa – Ray Haguisan
“Diwa” meaning Spirit, in Baybayin with an Okir motif.
Bakit – Christian
Bakit means Why. In this piece, I question the church leaders stance on condoms. The Baybayin reads Ba-Ki-T. The T has a vowel cancellation kudlit cross made of condoms.
Christ is here – Bernard Lompre
When we use the baybayin translator to translate the kristo name we can also have the dito so DE-TO-na-DE-TO can be translated by kristo na dito or christ is here. and all culture in the philippine start by kristo and load na dito, you connect here…
Filipino Sacred Heart – Norman de los Santos
Even though it looks like a typical Catholic/Christian sacred heart symbol, turn it upside down and you can actually see that it is actually Baybayin script for “Bathala”, the native Filipino term for “God”.
